• 9:15 Regular 75 minute service

• 10:45 Regular 75 minute service

• 5:00PM - SUSPENDED until AMC!

1. Relaunches as 5:00 worship followed by 60 minute classes 

SUNRISE SERVICE:

• 4 minute song

• 5 minute welcome / meet and greet

• 8 mins worship

• 40 minutes sermon including salvations

• Host takes over for 4 minutes of offering/final reminders
  

9:15am & 10:45am:

• 4 minute song

• 6 minute welcome / meet and greet / offering

• 13 mins worship

• 45 minutes sermon

• Host takes over for 2 minutes of honor offering if guest/final reminders

ACTION:

During the services, we will need to make a very intentional point of encouraging people to get to know the people they usually sit by. MOST PEOPLE DO SIT IN A SIMILAR SPOT EVERY WEEK!

(Don’t get mad when your spot isn’t available though lol)

But meet those people. Suggest signing up for classes TOGETHER! Grab a pizza together. Get a coffee. Get to know people in a safe, familiar space.

Lobby Design, Pizzas & Coffee!

The lobby isn’t designed just to look fancy and win the “best looking Mega Church” award. It’s all about flow, community and safety! With HIGH TABLES to stand at, booths to seat families and friends, smaller tables for coffees, and couches to relax and talk.

As always, Eternity Church will offer espresso and drip coffee! We don’t do this for bragging rights, but because a person with a coffee sticks around longer! Meeting people in line, seeing advertised classes, and talking to people afterwards. People with coffee stay after church, or come earlier by approximately 20 minutes. That’s a lot of extra time to connect!

ACTION: We need to mention coffee every week - but always use the word TOGETHER!

“Touch your neighbor and say, let’s get coffee TOGETHER after church”

1. NEW - PIZZA CAFE!
   Why? Convenient community builder! It’s not because “how cool” but rather making community EASY! Families can get pizza together after church! Even before church. I see people dropping kids off on Wednesday night and the parents staying behind in the lobby to get pizza and just talk, or pray, or study the word! Perhaps they’ll eat together, before going to class together, or the opposite. We’ll always say pizza for sale but free if need be.

ACTION: Always encourage pizza together. Always encourage people to invite the people they worship near, to come get a pizza together, or at least families getting pizza together, will meet families sitting next to them.

WHY?
Grow together, know the word and know God. Doing it together, builds community and lasting friendships

Biblical literacy died in America when life groups became vogue! Everyone and anyone was allowed to be a “leader” many churches even called those leaders “The first pastor in people’s lives!” But these people were most often uneducated in the word, but felt a passion or charisma. Thus desire and charisma became the most important factor in teaching others! These UNTAUGHT TEACHERS lacked knowledge and phrases like “what does this verse mean to you or me?” because popular and common. Thus a new way to read the word took over: READ INTO IT WHAT YOU FEEL OR THINK! And a new God was created!

• One who affirms or doesn’t care about sin

• One who only encourages and never chides

• One who demands NOTHING from us!

THE SOLUTION

Biblical knowledge, taught by taught people. And with time for prayer and discussion at the end of every class, ensuring the knowledge was to KNOW OUR GOD, not to puff us up!

HOW? 

8-10 week classes
One hour long
2 sets of classes on Wednesday nights, one set on Sundays
WED: 6pm and 7:15pm classes
Running Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter

ACTION:

1. Creation of ECU, in addition to our current Spiritual Formation classes.

2. Determine Classes (Global University / Theos U etc)

3. Encourage “coffee / pizza together with people in classes” 

4. Need system to track people’s growth. Search name and can see when baptized, child dedications, where they serve, what classes they’ve done, where they live etc..

5. Certificates and recommended growth chart.

6. ECU will count toward Theos U and Global Uni degrees etc

7. ECU will credit toward AG Credentials etc

DISCIPLESHIP AT ETERNITY

Discipleship at Eternity will consist of TWO important but distinct programs.

1. ECU Will be all about Biblical Literacy, so that people know the Word of God and are not easily swayed by the rhythms of the world

2. Spiritual Formations is a more personal and life application approach that helps people liv eout their faith.

This creates a discipleship pathway that both empowers and educates people as they grow in the Lord. Knowledge alone puffs up. Applicatiojn alone is blown with the wind. TOGETHER, we will have spiritually healthy, biblically literate disciples!
