About Eternity Church

Eternity Church, led by Pastor Jesse Newman, is based in the Des Moines suburb of Clive.

Under Pastor Jesse’s leadership, Eternity Church has grown to minister to thousands of people every week, and we won’t stop preaching the wonderful gospel of Jesus Christ until the whole world has seen that GOD’S WAY IS BETTER

When you first arrive..

When you arrive in the lobby, look left, and you’ll see the Family check-in where you can securely check in your kids for our various Eternity Kids services. To your right you’ll see the Eternity Cafe where we offer FREE high quality espresso and coffee! Further in and to the left is the auditorium where our adult services are located.

The restrooms are down the hallway on your right. A mother’s room is available for nursing moms just outside the auditorium doors. The mothers room door is black and says MOTHER’S on it. There is a changing table in this room for mom’s to change their kiddos. If you are a dad, there is also a changing table in the men’s restroom.

After service be sure to stop by or New Connections area to grab your free welcome gift. It’s located right outside the auditorium doors.

Eternity Kids

How to Check Your Kids In

We offer super fun programs with great biblical teaching for all children aged from 12 months to 5th Grade.

When you arrive in the lobby, the check in desk will be to your left. That’s where you can enter your phone number and a set of stickers will print out, one for you, one for your child. You put the name tag on your child and keep the other sticker for pickup after service. Toddlers and preschool kids go right into the kids rooms to the left of the check in desk and K-5th graders go upstairs to the E Kids room. 

After service, show the Safety Team volunteer your sticker, then you’ll pick up your kids. If your attention is needed during service a number will be displayed on the top right of the LED walls in the auditorium. The number that corresponds with your child is on the sticker printed out.

For the safety of all children at Eternity Church, if you lose your corresponding sticker, you’ll be kindly asked to wait till last, at which point a safety team worker will verify your identity. We know this could be mildly frustrating for you, but we hope you agree, it’s best to make sure every child goes home with the correct parent or guardian.

Please keep your sticker safe.

You can pre register your household by clicking the link below. Then when you arrive for weekend, all you’ll need to do is enter your phone number, and print your stickers.

MISSION STATEMENT

To show the world that
GOD’S WAY IS BETTER.

Beliefs

Eternity Church agrees, and believes in the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF EVANGELICALS statement of faith.

Bible

We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.

God

We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Jesus

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.

Salvation

We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful people, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.

Holy Spirit

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.

Resurrection

We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.

Unity

We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.

Marriage

We believe that God’s intentional design for marriage was for it to occur between a man and a woman, to the exclusion of all others.

Sex / Homosexuality

We believe that God designed sex to be enjoyed in the confines of marriage, between a man and a woman.

Gender

We believe that God intentionally assigned our gender, and that while we are not wholly defined by our God given gender, we cannot be wholly defined without it. Therefore, attempting to change our gender through surgery or identification, is a rejection of Gods design and plan for a persons life. Therefore, we believe that encouragement or participation in transgenderism is a sinful pursuit.

Abortion

We believe God is the creator of life and abortion is sin.

Women in Ministry

We believe that women can, and should use their pastoral and leadership gifts within the church, but to remain biblically consistent, those gifts should be used under the leadership of a male lead pastor.

Go a little further, do a little more, be a little extra.

  1. WE’RE EXTRA GENEROUS
    Because God has been so generous to us, and we wanna be just like Him. When we’re accused of being too generous, we’d only be scratching the surface of how generous our God is.

  2. WE HONOR UP, HONOR DOWN, HONOR ALL AROUND
    Because there is freedom in honor. Honor provides a cover of favor, protection and growth.

  3. WE DO GRACE & WE DO MERCY
    Because we give that which we have received.

  4. WE HAVE FUN SERVING GOD
    Because life is a gift, and serving God is an honor. So we have fun doing it. 

  5. WE PRAY WITH AN AMBITIOUS FAITH
    Because “nothing is impossible for our God” is truth, not just a cliche.

  6. WE WERE CREATED TO BE CREATIVE
    Because we were created in the image of God.

  7. WE WORK HARDER AND SMARTER
    Because we do all things for the Lord, and we got that Holy Spirit wisdom too!

  8. WE WORSHIP GOD WITH PASSION
    Because we were designed for worship.

  9. WE WANNA SAVE THEM ALL
    Because Eternity matters. We wanna bring as many people with us to live in Heaven for all Eternity.

  10. WE CARE ABOUT THE TRUTH
    Because truth is the foundation on which freedom is built. If we wanna see people set free, we need to help people embrace Truth.

  11. WE’RE SPIRIT FILLED
    Because our God is Trinity - God the father, God the son, and God the Holy Spirit! We wouldn’t wanna try to do all we are called to do, without a little EXTRA Holy Spirit power!

  12. WE SERVE A GOD WHO HEALS & RESTORES
    Our God is able to heal and restore everything that He wants to. So we ask Him!
