Pastor Jesse began as a youth pastor in Australia and in 2012 they followed the call of God and moved to the United States to plant Eternity Church in Clive, IA. Eternity Church moved to Johnston in the fall of 2025.
We preach Jesus!
Not a woke Jesus who promotes sin.
Not a broke Jesus who can’t afford to change our lives.
Not a joke Jesus created in our image or a Jesus who follows us.
We preach the JESUS of the Bible… Jesus who frees us from sin and death. Jesus who has the power to heal and transform our broken lives. Jesus the Son of God - that’s our Jesus! We are followers of Jesus!
This is the Jesus who saves! Jesus, who as apostle John said: CAME FULL OF GRACE AND FULL OF TRUTH!
We preach in the name of Jesus.
We pray in the name of Jesus.
There is life and healing and salvation in the name of Jesus.
Jesus said: “If I be lifted up I will draw all men into myself”, so at Eternity, we’re lifting JESUS up over our families, our cities, our state and our nation! And THAT is why we are growing. Because people come to meet JESUS, and in doing so, they find hope, healing, salvation and transformation!
Eternity Church agrees, and believes in the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF EVANGELICALS statement of faith.
Bible
We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.
God
We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Jesus
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.
Salvation
We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful people, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.
Holy Spirit
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.
Resurrection
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
Unity
We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
Marriage
We believe that God’s intentional design for marriage was for it to occur between a man and a woman, to the exclusion of all others.
Sex / Homosexuality
We believe that God designed sex to be enjoyed in the confines of marriage, between a man and a woman.
Gender
We believe that God intentionally assigned our gender, and that while we are not wholly defined by our God given gender, we cannot be wholly defined without it. Therefore, attempting to change our gender through surgery or identification, is a rejection of Gods design and plan for a persons life. Therefore, we believe that encouragement or participation in transgenderism is a sinful pursuit.
Abortion
We believe God is the creator of life and abortion is sin.
Women in Ministry
We believe that women can, and should use their pastoral and leadership gifts within the church, but to remain biblically consistent, those gifts should be used under the leadership of a male lead pastor.

Because as long as we have breath in our lungs, well use it for praise & worship!

Because it’s impossible to do God’s work without God’s power!
WE’RE FAITHFUL AND FAITH-FULL
Because “nothing is impossible for our God” is a truth, not a cliché!
WE HONOR UP, DOWN, AND ALL AROUND
Because honor covers us with favor, protection, and growth!
WE’RE GENEROUS
Because we’re living for the kingdom, and we can’t out-give the King!
WE LOVE LIFE
Because life is a gift, and serving God is a joy!
